This time I took my fish selections right back to the register at Customer Service, since the $4 from the previous purchase was not deducted at the register at the regular checkout line. Together, the cashier and I watched the transaction carefully on the little monitor. When the fish sale topped $10, the $4 was deducted, only to be added back on after my coupons were deducted. So the cashier said she had figured out what was happening. The computer was figuring the $10 purchase after the coupons were deducted. But, no worries. They are happy for me to receive the $4 savings and my coupon savings. She told me next time, to go through the regular checkout line, and, after the $4 was deducted from my order, to pay, and then come to Customer Service to redeem my coupons.
