Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese
8 oz. macaroni
2 tablespoons cooling oil
Cook and drain macaroni. Place in crock pot with cooking oil on low. Make cheese sauce.
cheese sauce:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
4 heaping tablespoons flour
4 cups milk
1 pound sharp cheddar cheddar cheese, shredded or sliced
Melt butter in skillet. Add flour. Cook and stir until lightly browned. Add milk. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Cook and stir 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. Add cheese and stir until well combined and cheese is melted.
Combine macaroni and cheese sauce in crock pot. Cook on low for 3 hours.
