Today is the last day -- Combine "buy one get one free" sale at Bloom with $10 off coupon in newspaper ad for a great deal!
Strategy -- Choose about $40 worth of merchandise from the buy one get one free sale & put in your buggy. The $10 off coupon will take off $10, and the "buy one get one free" sale will take off about $20. You will pay about $10. That is roughly a savings of 75 %.
Coupon states, "Redeem this coupon & receive another $10 offer in-store for a future visit!" I received the coupon at checkout & it is for $10 off a $40 purchase for next week's ad - which begins tomorrow.

Perdue Chicken - all fresh varieties - buy one get one free - look for small packages
Use Perdue coupon from 1/23/11 Red Plum coupon insert to get a pound of boneless chicken breast for about $1.25.
This is what I found today. I buy boneless chicken breast, so that is what I priced. Boneless chicken breast is $5.49/lb. The packages are marked with the sale price, so a one lb. package would be marked $2.75. A $0.75 off coupon will deduct $1.50, so the one lb. package will cost just $1.25.
Bottom Dollar
Get Oscar Mayer Ready To Serve Bacon and Hannaford Eggs free when you buy one of each:

and, finally, use this Target coupon, since Bottom Dollar accepts competitor coupons
- 1.00 Oscar Mayer bacon here
-------
$ 3.81 for all 5 products
Bottom Dollar stores post competitor ads at the front of the store. You will want to make sure the location where you shop accepts manufacturer coupons, internet printable coupons and competitor coupons. I bought all five products at the Ferry Farm Bottom Dollar for $3.81. Then they told me that they normally do not accept internet printable coupons. So I called the store on Jefferson Davis Highway and inquired if they accept manufacturer coupons, internet printable coupons and competitor coupons, specifically Target coupons. The person I talked to said they accept all three types of coupons.
Also at Bottom Dollar this week, Luck's beans, Smart Option pizza, Smart Option paper towels, Smart Option potato crisps and Hannaford Chicken Noodle or Tomato soup are all on sale for $0.50 each.

Wegmans freebies this week - Free salsa and Free eggs - expires 1/22/11
This week I will plan to pick up a dozen eggs and Wegmans salsa, free with coupons and a $10 purchase. I received my coupons in a home mailer that comes to Wegmans shoppers club members, but when I have forgotten my coupons, they have always been available at the front desk. The wording on the coupons says, "Free with $10.00 minimum purchase and Shoppers Club Card." Ask for a Shoppers club card at customer service.
What about the $10 purchase? I routinely buy boneless chicken breast for $1.99/lb., ground chuck for $1.99/lb. and vacuum sealed boneless pork chops for $2.49/lb. I typically make a very quick trip to Wegmans each week, picking up one package of the meat that I need the most, and my two free items.
